Successful Ascari Test

The Sporting & Historic team have just conducted a successful week long test at Ascari in Spain.
With 9 cars in attendance including a Ferrari 512S and Alfa Romeo T33/2 Daytona, the team were kept very busy.
All the cars ran well, needing only minor alteration work ready for their respective events coming up this year.
Look out for more news on the forthcoming Tour Auto and the first round in the Motor Racing Legends at
Donington Park.

New Website Goes Live

Welcome to our new website. 2014 saw a year of rapid expansion into new premises and continued success on the racetrack, along with new clients and a growing list of desirable cars for the team to work on. 2015 will be an exciting time with the team currently working on the following:
  • Classic Endurance: Ferrari 512S, Ferrari 512M, Alfa Romeo T33/2, Alfa Romeo T33/3, Alfa Romeo T33/TT/3, Ferrari 365 GTB4 Daytona and Lola T290.
  • Motor Racing Legends: Ferrari 246S HGPCA: Aston Martin DBR4.
  • Tour Auto: Ferrari 275GTB/C.
  • Road Car maintenance: Ferrari 250 SWB California spyder, Aston Martin DB3S, Ferrari 250 SWB, Ferrari F50 x2. Road Car Restoration: Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato.
  • Race car Restoration: Ferrari 206S.
  • Managing Director Tim Samways commented: In 2014 we achieved numerous pole positions and race wins. We also restored some of the worlds most famous and desirable road cars. Our wish for 2015 is to continue and build on this, and offer the same high standards of preparation and workmanship for all of our customers road and race cars.

    GoodWood 2014

    The Goodwood revival this Year was another successful event for Sporting and Historic Cars, running a Ferrari 860 Monza and the famous Ferrari 246 S which achieved Pole Position. The race saw World Endurance Championship driver Nick Leventis start, dicing with the early pacesetters. Bobby Verdon Roe took the reins at the driver change dicing and overtaking his way to second.
